Sergei Taranushenko
Born 1920 to a poor family eking out life in the farmlands of Russia, the might of the Russian Communist Party now in grasp of the land. In his early teens Sergei worked in the Industrial plants springing up around the new nation, the dream of transforming Russia into an Industrial giant.
There he toiled, sweated and bled under Stalin so his elderly family could eat, all in all a miserable existence, one only to survive. Then in the late summer of 1941 Germany invaded the Soviet Union and Stalin sent his troops, not to meet the army as the main concern was, but to dismantle at a frantic pace the Industrial plants and remove them and the workers. Made to walk to the Ural Mountains bearing massive cogs
Sergei left his family under gunpoint and slave for the better of the nation… his family left to the scorched earth.
Once beyond the mountains, he and others refused to work, the first of them shot. Sergei was imprisoned and made to work anyway. From there he wound his way from prison to prison, surviving the conditions and the politicians. Eventually he found himself locked at the end of the war with German soldiers in freezing and claustrophobic conditions.
Eager to escape he volunteered to working on the new towers of Stalin and with his past experience, welcomed. He left and began the construction. There he felt the Seal tug at his sense and his road to Awakening began, along with others. After the murder of the Seraphim, he fled as the angel returned as Nepharite, into hiding at what would become the Izbushka. Apart from teaching a select few about the Cabbalah he remains in hiding fearful of the Nepharite’s revenge.
A desperate man, who desires the return of Binah’s power in Russia and the strength of family and religion. A devoted Cabbalist, the Seal has transformed his ideology to that of Binah and her mysterious fifty gates rather than the Sephiroth at a whole.
Dressed in a white, seamless robe that only barely conceals his paunch, his hands and arms scarred and burned to mangled flesh. Innocent in composure, if fit into rags could pass as a street beggar.
GAMEMASTERING HINTS: Look like you are floating, focus your eyes just above those you speak to as if there was something higher than them. Smile in the presence of children and speak warnings about the corruption of the Western world in biblical vernacular.
