The P.O.W.s
German soldiers captured at the end of World War Two, the POWs were taken by the Russian Army back to the camps around Moskov, made to live in the same conditions they worked under their own officers. Many of them were lucky, not having to face the horrors inflicted upon their officers.
When the Red Army ordered the German soldiers to aid in building Stalin’s seven Vysotnie Zdaniya or face death, they agreed. Under the direction of a concentration camp Officer Gelphin (the seraphim Sandolphin) they worked at the Communist structures. Little did they know what they were creating.
It was only near the completion of the building that the POWs noticed something more than they should - some of them were beginning to awaken, and they could feel the power of Binah so close. Reverently they went to speak with the rest of the POWs working in lower levels, but they never reached there. Officer Gelphin intercepted them, noticed their change and dragged each, screaming to the unfinished walls where he plastered them inside, his identity safe.
Officer Gelphin (Sandolphin) noticed the seal embedded in the Kotelnicheskaya’s upper floors and fled the site, leaving it to be completed by the remaining POWs. Again the closeness of such power breaking the Illusion caused many to step onto the road to awakening under the thrall of Binah without her realising it. The German soldiers changed mentally and physically and then they found their some of their brethren buried in the walls. Outraged they hunted Officer Gelphin.
They found him, although now they could see what he really was, a Seraphim, a murderous angel who had descended to the streets to kill children. The angered POWs dragged him by the wings up into the apartments, tore at his wings and hurled him off the side to plummet below.
The POWs studied the power of the seal, enamoured by it but never got close enough to uncover its secrets or to awaken fully. The Seraphim returned, but now a Nepharite. The POWs fled as the vengeful angel dragged the more awakened of them screaming off to personal hells. Many escaped, but more than half were dragged deep within the towers on barbed wire to smoking furnaces and gas chambers, others gunned down by Red Army soldiers guarding the building outside.
Those POWs who made it to the streets fled deep within the dark alleyways, hiding in fear from the Nepharite stalking their every move. The POWs waited, some for years before acting, still wary of the Nepharite, and began to look back to the apartments and Binah’s seal. Some returned and were never heard from again, while others waited and studied the mystic ways of Cabbalah shown to them within the tower.
Over the next 30 years a few of the POWs remained in contact, forming protective groups, dedicated to some day returning. Some grew followers and instructed them in the secrets of Cabbalah which all the POWs excelled in, the Jewish teachings ironically becoming Gospel for them.
With the fall of Communism and the POWs in large still alive and untouched by the Nepharite they held their first meeting together and discussed matters of import. Namely, how to get back to the Kotelnicheskaya Apartments. Some had already tried, sending choice followers, but they too never returned. Concerned with this another factor pressed on their minds - that of the Western influence. For that reason they worried about the Apartments becoming some Russian monument, or being bought by foreign interests. And as the next few years passed many of the Cabbalists received hints that the seal was slowly becoming corrupted, a product, they believe, of western influence on the community and the communities influence upon the surroundings.
The Cabbalists became more bold, instituting schools of knowledge dedicated to their Science and religion, and still no Nepharite. The old POWs now campaign against Western influence in the manner fundamentalist Christians demonstrate against those not one of them, by lecturing youths at nightclubs, sending out the young who are learning the "right" way to sway the others to their sects. Sometimes it works, but mostly it is laughed.
It is only in the last few years that the Cabbalists have discussed the need for a restructure of the Kotelnicheskaya Apartments, a conversion of the Seal, to erect a mighty Church to Binah to re-consolidate her power within Moskov. However, with this decision none of them have yet had the compunction to enter the Apartments or near it, fearing the attack of the Nepharite. So they send their children instead. But they never return. The Cabbalists suspect other factors may be involved with this as their young followers go missing when preaching at nightclubs as well.
