The Lorelei
Anastasia’s recent emergence has inflamed her. The last five years have been a whirl-wind that took her back to her days in Bern. She has many lovers, many friends and an endless party-lifestyle that grows with each day. Nothing could be more sweet. In fact in the last two years she created new Lorelei among those of her lovers she truly cherished.
These Lorelei have become a core of ‘elite’ among the club, the ones to be friends with, because they are so close to Anastasia. They have no end of lovers and friends themselves because of this, and many of them have other skills which make them desired as well. A list follows.
Georgii Rojik:
Georgii is the typical Don Juan. Handsome, charming… Anastasia was attracted to him because of his resemblance to William Harcourt in looks and mindset. Georgii enjoys extravagant parties and wild times. Georgii takes lovers of both sexes and leaves his lovers dead more often than not. Son of an important Parliament member, Georgii is always in the money, although his father has little to do with him now.
Nicolai Raina:
Georgii’s right hand man. Nicolai is a music lover who supports the local music scene with a passion, a passion that often leads to break-ups with girlfriends and boyfriends. Nicolai, like Georgii, enjoys both sexes, but not lovers. He prefers short flings, tending not to drain those he feeds from. More scruffy than Georgii, preferring his leather jacket to more modern fashions, Nicolai is often seen with his friend.
Adrianna Chernetskii:
Adrianna came from a wealthy family from Checkeslovakia, who moved to Moskov so her parents could work at the Bolshoy Theatre in 1995 after Yuri Grigorovich was abruptly dismissed. Her parents took over the choreography of the ballet and exploited the Bolshoy’s history as they were informed. Until then they had trained Adrianna as a ballet dancer, but now their careers were more important and her training was passed on, but she lost interest and met Georgii through a party her parents held where Georgii’s father attended. Georgii took her to the Rusalka and she was ensnared. Anastasia made her a Lorelei when she saw the passion of Adrianna released in her nightclub. There she dances most nights, taking her lovers from those who can match her pace and passion on the dance floor.
Pavel Klimenko:
Pavel was a violent youth, and still is, although his anger is more directed in the poetry he was so proud of. His mentor is Vladimir Vysotskiy, the bard of Taganka. Pavel lived in the gutter all his life, but his determination for art drove him through it all and he gained much from the misery of the streets. A drunkard, Pavel has a certain charm about him that originally drew Anastasia, his passion for words and his use of them.
