Jose treated her well, though at times she found he treated her like others, but he still noticed her, and they even shared their bed together often and without guilt or any other emotion tying them. Some esteem was regained… moreso by Jose's intentions and treatment of her, giving her a home second to none… It has been six years between them, and though Susana sees less of Jose, and she finds herself growing more strong within herself, she knows that Jose will never turn back to her. Their drifting of ways has been slow, but not painful. She has found solace with the other of Jose's coterie of youth… Jhon Manco, but she fears his violent tendencies toward himself.
