Spoiled beyond measure as a child, but his life has altered beyond means. A rich American father who married a young and beautiful Mexican teenager, producing his only son whom he gave everything, handouts a daily thing. Alvaro never wanted anything growing up, gifted anything he desired. He never wanted for money and rarely asked for it. So when his father was shot dead by petty thugs and the will was read, excluding his mother and himself, gifting all to his other wife in America Alvaro was hit with disaster. Slowly and slowly every gift he had ever owned was sold to keep his mother and him alive, and then she sold the house, took the money and ran. He returned one day from his now public school to find the house empty, locked, and he abandoned.
It was a rude awakening for the proud and arrogant youth. Destitute, he did what he could to survive, and changed his attitude accordingly. Surprisingly, work was not hard to find, and with a meager earning he propelled himself into a University job. Resourceful, charming, and dedicated he found the eye of Cesar Amado watching him, and then it came. A high paid job and high priorities.
appearance: Alvaro dresses smartly, but not with any chiq style, his being more of a plain brooksbrothers approach in woolen sportscoats. Always smiling, hair slicked upward, and possibly dyed.
personality: Alvaro is pushy, as he knows to go that little further to get tasks accomplished. He is a determined individual, and others know this.
game-mastering hints: Smile always. People are more at ease when you smile, even though it may be predatory. You are not a fool, but you have been fooled, so you always appraise situations carefully. Never let others get above you in your tasks. Alvaro has a soft spot for young women as with most men, and often clubs respectably for such purposes.
plot points: Alvaro works for Cesar Amado, but knows nothing of his employers ties, and has no concept beyond surviving, working and saving money.
