feel it crawl
through your belly
feel it devour
as it fades
your stomach lining
Run while you can

Dahzbog - Aleksandr Sokolov

This is another Russian Legend, transmutated by the Church and I into something other than the Pagan God it originally began as. By Russian myth, Dahzbog identified as being a sun god concerned with the creative effects of light, harvest, etc… In epic songs Russians are named the children of Dahzbog. He fulfilled a role similar to Apollo, every morning streaming across the sky in his chariot, and ages with the sun’s journey, living a life every day.

When Christianity came to Russia (symbolised as Binah for the part of this campaign) Prince Vladimir, who will prove an important turning point in the campaign later, worshipped dark gods on a hill, abused his wife (Anna - The Lady), before his conversion to Christianity. This story will be played out by characters in the future who find themselves in this past and help to influence Binah’s arrival in an attempt to destroy their demented leader, Prince Vladimir.

Chagidiel held some sway on the land back then and could exercise more freedom than in the present. Prince Vladimir held sway over a nation by listening to dark gods and enacting rituals and orgies best left unspoken - he murdered his own brother to claim the throne. Kievans sacrificed to these dark gods and brought their children to the demonic idols upon the hills, the hills of Rus watered with the blood of young men and maidens.

Chagidiel’s Razides existed as gods of a doting Prince and enslaved nation. Back then children were brought to the Razides… now. Now they must hunt like dogs in the streets for them, not that it has bothered them. Now it is a different era and the hunt is much a part of the fear and terror of a Moskov changing into New York too quickly and too easily.

Dahzbog is one of the Razides of Chagidiel still left who works under Anton Teptov, Chagidiel’s incarnate, arranging children to be caught and ushered from the streets into the waiting arms of orphanages and clinics, and from there to Youth Camps where Anton can enjoy the children’s abuse in privacy.

HISTORY OF THE ORGANISATION
Anton has many agents among cream of society which allow him to work his prisons in secret, although he is a notable politician. Dahzbog, the Razide, is one of these agents who arranged the care/mistreatment of youth in orphanages within Moskov. Dahzbog (Aleksandr) works as a high member of welfare care and is well-known in political circles. Aleksandr has been engaged in the orphanages since the mid-thirties and worked with Teptov in the care of youth. As the organisation grew with help from other politicians and other willing participants, Dahzbog went more independant and encouraged a core of those around him by establishing an almost hierachial priesthood within the organisation.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
The organisation’s cause is to capture, receive and accept young children into their care; either by state arrangement or by simple desire for more children. Upon arrival the next few weeks are spent for a child cared and attended for, interspersed with periods of mistreatment. After those weeks the light physical and emotional attacks twist into torture. At this point some are shipped to Teptov who then extinguished all hope and implants suffering as the only emotion, renting out the children to others who would want to abuse.

The Razide feeds upon the children’s pain and he has become a master at subtle torture in those few weeks. Dahzbog, does not always linger in his orphanages within Moskov and travels to aid Anton in camps and other locations in the pain and obliteration of youthful hope.

Dahzbog heirarchy has ensured the loyalty of many men and women to his service and the inclusion of Maniphestos assures him of their loyalty eventually. He has over the years chosen men and women suited to the abuse of children, who actively enjoy it and offered them service within the orphanages. Those who agree are merged with Maniphestos, most willingly and living in co-existence with each other, and spend their time abusing. Some Dahzbog actually allows a greater honour, that of the transformation into a Domovoi.

Recently the orphanage’s have been losing youth, few wish to go and many try escape so Dahzbog has been trialing a new method of acquisition. Knowing he cannot use his staff all the time to capture children on the streets he has resorted to using teenagers, infecting them with Maniphestos and binding them to his service and making them hunt the streets for him (allowing them a little fun whilst they do so, admittedly). Naturally, these children are twisted as the Maniphestos takes them over slowly and once fully possessed Dahzbog sends these recruits to the youth camps where they are placed with normal inmates and an internal distrust begins - the youth cannot trust even those in a similar plight.

DAHZBOG (a.k.a Aleksandr Sokolov)

Woshipped as the Sun God, Dahzbog, whom Christians denounced as a masquerade for Lucifer himself Dahzbog has served Chagidiel willingly, if with a little more free will. One of the Death Angels few remaining Razides, Dahzbog enjoys the influx of targets and the rise of capitalism - Moskov is turning into a den of abuse and vices.

Unorthodox in his use of children, he still provides a large quota for Anton Teptov which keeps the incarnate more than pleased with Dahzbog. Chagidiel is aware of Dahzbog’s individual nature, his heirachy being one and the unconventional use of children as willing servants rather than suffering slaves, but for the moment is contented.

Tall, lean with longish black greased hair, Aleksandr looks scholarly and smiles genuinely often to calm those around. Those who see through the Illusion see an emaciated and frightening wraith whose skin clings to the long and ridged bones and eyes glare sallow.

GAMEMASTERING HINTS: Listen to everyone like a psychiatrist. Understand and provide support for people who are weak - humans are all weak, and once they have your love or your trust simply betray them in any way you can. Speak with a calm and understanding voice, consoling those with false, but seeming sincere, words of aid.

DOMOVOI

These legendary ancestral house-spirits who protected the family are the result of a ritual performed between a Maniphestos parasite and a willing human host after long co-habitation with each other when perversions and bad habits are augmented to an extreme. Dahzbog created this ritual as another of his unorthodox ideas.

Created out of those human of his staff so twisted that all they have is to abuse, have shunned their life, Dahzbog tests and if pleased takes them to Chagidiel’s citadel where he performs the painful and altering ritual. The Maniphestos parasite is urged into growing and spreading form within the human host. The result is a creature, though humanoid, with white silky fur covering every part of their body, horns and tail accompany body shape. The Domovoi have the ability to move through Time and Space and enter Dreams at great speed. However, such is this burden the parasite slowly burns out from its transformation and dies within ten years - the human’s soul so altered Dahzbog collects.

The transformation allows the Domovoi to not be restricted by Time and Space and Dreams and abuse children in all eras and in sleep.
